Passing the Qualifying Exam
It’s all about Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies Implementing and Operating (ENCOR 35-401). It tests the candidate’s knowledge about enterprise networking technologies. This exam allows you to earn a specialist certificate. It is possible to earn a specialist certification by completing training in Implementing Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies (ENCOR 35-401)
Passing the Lab Exam (v1.0).
The exam lasts 8 hours. This lab exam covers the entire lifecycle of complex enterprise wireless network systems, from design and deployment to operation and optimization.
Prerequisites
A formal prerequisite is required to pass the CCIE Enterprise Wireless Certification Program. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of all topics covered in the exam before they can sit for it. Candidates must also have at least 5 to 7 years experience in designing, deploying and optimizing enterprise wireless solutions and technologies before they can take the exam.
Migration to the new program
It is important that you note that the new CCIE Enterprise Wireless v1.0 certificate will replace the current CCIE Wireless v3.1 certification on February 24, 2020. If you are already working towards the current CCIE Wireless v3.1 certificate, don’t quit. You will receive credit for work completed in the current program in the new program. If you are able to pass the exam and you pass the current CCIE Wireless exam before February 24, you will be eligible to take the new CCIE Enterprise Wireless v1.0 laboratory exam after February 24.
According to Cisco’s official website, the CCIE Wireless written v3.1 exam is being replaced by ENCOR 350-401 after February 24, according to Cisco. After passing the ENCOR 350-401, you will be eligible to earn the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core certification.
