This statement was based on a report in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
Kantardjiev stated that Microsoft Azure was a viable and practical option for VIVA as well as for businesses in general, because it offers flexibility and reliability, and a fast time to market.
This statement was made after the conclusion to Microsoft’s first Azure Summit, which took place in Bahrain. The Microsoft Azure Summit roadshow was organized in collaboration with EMT Distribution and began in the UAE. It is currently touring the GCC countries, with Kuwait the next stop.
Erdal Ozkaya, IT security guru, addressed the audience in Bahrain. He spoke about cloud and Microsoft Azure, various security aspects, and customer concerns.
Ozkaya stated that Microsoft is making important milestones to show customers they care about security and the data stored on their cloud. This is part of their goal to provide customers with the best experience, regardless of platform.
